From September 6th to October 4th, Michelle Héon returns in force to Galerie Trois Points to present its latest production.
In line with the exhibition Brouage, a photographic suite … presented in 2001, Michelle Héon offers us a photographic installation in digital printing produced exclusively for the space of the Galerie Trois Points. The shots used give the artist’s images a certain spirituality in addition to a complex poetic charge. The artist perfectly succeeds in transmitting the pictoriality of fluid materials through the camera. Clichés raise a dialogue between what we see and what we imagine.
In this new production, Michelle Héon’s approach revolves around a process of organization and disorganization of space, reality and fiction. In fact, it is much more a question of manipulated images than of photographs. The created space comes from the places selected by the artist, certainly, but it is the imaginary excesses that better reflect the works.
The photographs were taken at Sagamie’s printshop and will be presented to the public for the first time.
